Wedge Mod, The WorldGen Editor: Create worlds you've only dreamed of!

Are you tired of being lulled to sleep by the plains, deserts and rolling mountains of your average Minecraft surface world?
Do the constant swamps and flat snow worlds lead you to explore for hours on end just to find exciting terrain?
Say, "No more!"
Ditch your Superflat friend and play around with the new "Superfun" mode in...
Wedge , the WorldGen editor

Here are some pics of Wedge's results in action:

Shaders Mod (GLSL Shaders, Dynamic Shadows, More!)

This mod adds shaders to Minecraft in a post-process manner that simulate different effects that occur in the real-world in how light reacts with objects and with the human eye. This mod also adds dynamic movement to flora and fire.

Note: This mod was configured with a high-spec system in mind. If you run vanilla Minecraft with max view distance and fancy settings at around 100+ fps and most modern games at med-high to high settings, then this mod should run fine for you. Read further down in the Tweaks section for how to get better performance out of this mod.

Explosives+ Mod

Looking to cause a little* destruction? You've come to the right place.

Comes Alive Mod

Say goodbye to those ugly and boring Testificates! Minecraft Comes Alive replaces the original villagers with humans and gives them an actual use within the game. For example:
  • Villagers are regular humans. They can be male or female and have skins pertaining to their gender and profession.
  • You can interact with villagers and raise your relationship (hearts) with them. Get it high enough and you can get married to one!
  • You can have a baby after you get married. It will grow into a child who can do chores for you such as farming, fishing, and hunting.
  • Your child will grow into an adult. They make great companions and will defend you to the death. They also play part in a secret feature in Hardcore mode.

Minions Minecraft Mod

By now, many great extensions of the Minecraft gameplay exist (such as Industrialcraft, Buildcraft....) but they have one common weakness. They usually require you to amass X resources before you can make use of the advanced stuff. The process of mining down and then stripmining for raw materials has become very repetitive and boring after a while.

Forestry Mod, Trees, Bees and more!

If there is one task in Minecraft I loathe, it is farming trees. Using BuildCraft I found myself building quite a few tree farms to get enough charcoal for my steam engines. And even with TehKrush's "Timber!" I found myself bored with farming trees. However I did not find a way to truly automate tree farming. So I looked at a few modding tutorials and built my own tree farm equipment. The result is this mod. I hope a few people might find some use for it. And who does not love a good production chain with BuildCraft pipes.

The goal of this mod is to automate tree farming as much as possible without becoming entirely overpowered. Full automation can currently only be achieved if the mod is used in conjunction with BuildCraft.

Clay Soldiers Minecraft Mod

A clay soldier is an item you can hold in your hand. It is crafted using a clay block (for substance) and soulsand (for sustaining intelligent life). Specifically, one block of clay and one block of soulsand can be used to create four soldiers. Once you have a nice little pile in your hands (up to 16), right-click to place them all at once. They will quickly spread out and begin to roam the landscape. They walk slow and don't jump very high, but they have enough arm strength to climb up a single block. Unfortunately, since they lack a decent skeletal support structure (or even skin, for that matter), their delicate figures can be horribly mutilated by even the weakest of blows. A player can cripple a clay soldier in just a single punch. So naturally, they aren't hostile towards anything bigger than themselves. So, what in the world are they qualified to fight against? ...Other clay soldiers, of course!
